Is social media in your marketing strategy?

The recent news that "more than 80% of young adults in the world use social media to make purchasing decisions" has got many global brands taking their use of networking sites more seriously.
Surprisingly most SME's, education institutes and public sector organisations are still hesitant about making social media part of their overall strategy.
So we'd like to find out if you are making social media part of your strategy...

Another good question guys.
It's unsurprising to see the large number of people who don't know where to start and therefore are slowly missing the surging numbers and opportunities. I have found joining networks too late can create negative brand responses.
I doubt it will be long before the so-called Social Media "experts" find interest in their work drying up, as Marketing Managers and Digital Directors begin integrating Social Media in to marketing plans.

It's becoming so important for brands of all sizes to get on board with social media. Why does it take business owners so long to jump in to opportunities to talk to customers?
