Brief

To build a strategy for a science trump card game and a launch campaign that would resonate with children and their teachers.

How we helped

Using focus groups, we gained an insight into student and teacher needs, giving a clear direction for the content and design. One game developed into a range of four and on completion of the brand strategy we created the point of sale material, direct mailers, posters and exhibition banners.

Results

The spring 2009 launch delivered clear differentiation in the education market with high recall among teachers and pupils.

A growing and loyal online fan base spends an average 4½ minutes on each website visit.

In June 2009 the Dr Hal range of Science Trumps collected a second award in recognition for research and innovation.
