Brief
Zebedee's Lunch Box is a privately owned contract catering company, specialising in the supply of healthy, nutritious meals to schools and nurseries. Their nutritionally analysed hot lunches and desserts are prepared daily to ensure quality and freshness. Transported in temperature controlled containers, their meals stay hot until ready to serve.
Having worked with the team at Zebedee's for the last few years we were recently asked to develop a new corporate website and online ordering system. Their existing site needed bringing up to date to reflect the recent changes within the company and include more details about their team, policies, and the health and nutritional values of the menus.
How we helped
The new site includes a content management system (CMS) based customer exclusive news section, access to a full range of online menus and full details on Zebedee's healthy nutritious food. We included a newsletter sign up form linked to our email marketing software Preview Cluster and also implemented a postcode delivery check for new customers to see if Zebedee's deliver to their School or Nursery.
Results
With the new corporate site now live, development continues on Phase 2 which is due to go live during the summer of 2011. Upon completion, clients will be able to access the Members Area and confirm orders for the following week's lunches along with details of any special dietary requirements. Zebedee's administration 'back-end' will then allow them to export orders direct to the kitchen in order to streamline lunch and tea preparation, as well as delivery schedules. Users will be able to view some of Zebedee's recipes in a custom written CMS 'Recipe Book' section in the members' area.
